How to Make a Reservation

Call InterGolf Vacations toll-free or your local travel agent to make a reservation, or you may download a Reservation form (pdf file). (If you cannot read pdf files you may do so by downloading a free copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader).

A deposit of 25% of land trip value (minimum deposit $1,500) is required at the time of reservation to confirm space. This deposit can either be made by check, or by credit card - MasterCard, VISA or American Express are accepted. On any escorted or hosted tour this deposit will confirm your space on your chosen tour. On a self-drive tour this will allow us to confirm your schedule with our suppliers. In the unlikely event that we cannot confirm the arrangements to your satisfaction we will refund your deposit.

Once you have made your reservation you will receive confirmed documents within 14 days detailing all aspects of your trip. Intergolf Vacations is also pleased to offer a Travel Protection Plan including Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver.

Travel Protection
Working in conjunction with World Access Service Corp. one of the leading providers of travel protection, InterGolf Vacations has created a special coverage for travelers, which we believe meets the needs and expectations of today's discerning international leisure traveler. Simply, it combines traditional Travel Protection, offering insurance benefits including coverage in the event of cancellation for defined reasons, along with a Cancellation For Any Reason Waiver, which permits cancellation for any reason whatsoever by the traveler, and provides a combination of refund and future travel credit. Travel Protection Plan is available only to Residents of the USA or Canada.

Tour Types
We offer two distinct travel options: Escorted and Self-Drive. In order to aid your selection, to follow is a brief description of the service provided on each tour.

Escorted
Travel via motorcoach as part of a group of up to 24 golfers (maximum 30 total passengers, including non-golfers). You will be met at your arrival airport and transferred via motorcoach to your first hotel. Your InterGolf Vacations Tour Escort will travel with you throughout. He/she will make the daily pairings for golf and will be present at all social functions. He/she will also assist non-golfers with sightseeing suggestions and/or organized sightseeing activities. Several escorted tours also include airfare from US departure cities.

Self-Drive
Travel via rental car on your own customized tour. You will be met at your arrival airport by an InterGolf Vacations representative who will assist with the transfer to your rental car. The representative will provide you with tour information including maps and sightseeing suggestions. You will also receive a 24 hour contact telephone number to call in case of emergency.

Arrival & Departure Windows - Escorted tours
As clients arrive and depart on different flights on escorted and hosted tours, it is necessary for us to establish air arrival and departure windows (hosted tours arrival window only) which will best accommodate a coordinated arrival and departure for each group. On an escorted tour, in order to guarantee your transfer to your hotel on arrival and departure, you must book your intercontinental airline ticket through InterGolf Vacations.

If making your own arrangements (e.g. utilizing frequent flyer miles) please check with our air department for advice as to appropriate arrival and departure times. Note: final arrival and departure windows may not be established until 45 days prior to departure, when all client air arrangements have been finalized. In order to guarantee that you will be met on any of our hosted tours, you must arrive within the designated arrival window, please check with our air department for full details on arrival windows for all hosted and escorted tours.

Office Hours
Our office is open 8:00am - 6:00pm EST Monday - Friday. After calling our toll-free number simply dial extension 3 to speak with one of our Golf Travel Specialists who are specially trained in the destinations we offer and will be pleased to assist you in any way with any questions you might have. Additionally if you wish to make a reservation after business hours simply call us toll-free, dial extension 1 and leave complete details of the tour you wish to book. A Golf Travel Specialist will then call you back during business hours to reconfirm all details on your selected tour.

Non-Golfer Sightseeing
While our tours are designed with the golfer in mind, we are very aware of the needs of non-golfers. On each escorted tour non-golfers will have a daily schedule of sightseeing activities. (For complete details ask your Golf Travel Specialist). On a hosted tour non-golfers are also provided with a menu of suggested sightseeing activities to choose from.

Group Travel
We are well versed in the special requirements which groups have. For this reason we have set up a group travel desk catering to these specific needs. For information on setting up a group of 12 or more, call us toll-free and ask to speak with our group desk.

Professional Affiliations
At InterGolf Vacations, we are extremely proud of our long standing reputation in the golf travel industry (since 1971). Included among the associations which we are members of are ASTA (American Society of Travel Agents), CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), SIGTOA (Scottish Incoming Golf Tour Operators Association), IAGTO (International Association of Golf Tour Operators) and AAGTO (American Association of Golf Tour Operators).

Golf Handicaps
Many of the golf courses at InterGolf Vacations' destinations around the world either require visitors to be a member of a recognized golf club and/or to hold an official handicap (some place certain maximum handicap restrictions-please check with our Atlanta office for a complete list). InterGolf Vacations endorses this viewpoint and recommends that players travel with a handicap certificate from their golf club which they may be required to produce. InterGolf Vacations accepts no responsibility for clients being refused golf if they do not meet these requirements. The clubs which require such documentation are not trying to discourage visitors, but rather to increase the enjoyment of the true golfers who play their golf course.

Confirmed Schedules
Please be aware that the majority of golf courses will not allocate exact starting times until they have completed their own club calendar of events for the year. As a result, the golf schedule is subject to change with final confirmation January 31 of the year of travel.
