Course (tbc) a spectacular 7,026 yard, par 72 course incorporating
cliff-edge holes and stunning views over the North Sea and the medieval skyline
of historic St Andrews. Designed as a walking course, golfers will experience
the unforgettable course literally feet first.

Today challenge the Old Course of St. Andrews (tbc) . The ''Home of
Golf'', the Old Course has played host to the greatest golfers in the world and
produced many of golf's dramatic moments. Wide double fairways, seven extensive
double greens, and a multitude of intimidating bunkers are just some of the
unique features you will encounter.

Play today on the
New Course of St. Andrews (tbc). Rated by many as the toughest of the St.
Andrews Courses, the New Course was laid out by Old Tom Morris and opened in
1895. A great emphasis is placed on hitting the fairways as several holes have
been carved through blankets of gorse bushes.

 Fairmont St Andrews is located on the outskirts of St.Andrews on the
road to Crail. Sitting on the summit of a spectacular cliff formation, the hotel
and its two championship golf courses have breathtaking panoramic views of the
River Tay estuary, the North Sea, the Fife countryside and the medieval skyline
of St Andrews. This international resort opened in the spring of 2001 and had
recently been taken over by Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, providing an excellent

TRAVEL
PROTECTION PLAN - InterGolf Vacations recommends that you have luggage,
accident and trip cancellation insurance. It is important for your own
self-interest and protection that you make certain you have adequate coverage.
Check with your insurance company or travel agent. You may learn more about the
InterGolf Vacations Travel Protection Plan by visiting here. If
purchased within seven days of the initial deposit, this Protection Plan
includes a "Cancellation for Any Reason" waiver. The Travel
Protection Plan is only available to Citizens or Permanent Residents of the USA
or Canada.
NOTE: The “Cancel for Any Reason” waiver is only
available for travel to the British Isles (Scotland, England, Ireland, Northern
Ireland, Wales). It is NOT available or offered to other InterGolf Vacations
destinations.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Changes: After deposits
have been received and confirmation has been issued, any changes requested by
the client are subject to an administrative fee of $50.00 per change per person
in addition to any charges which may be made by suppliers for cancellations. In
most cases, changes cannot be made less than 60 days before
travel.
Handicap Certificate: Most courses require visitors to be
a member of a recognized golf club and to hold official handicaps, with some
courses imposing a maximum handicap restriction. InterGolf Vacations endorses
this viewpoint and recommends that players travel with a valid handicap
certificate from their golf club which they may be required to produce.
Old Course: InterGolf Vacations is pleased to prepare a direct
request for the Old Course at St. Andrews on your behalf as part of the trip
arrangements. The requests are fulfilled by the St.Andrews Links Trust on a
first come – first served basis. Historically the successful applicants are
notified during October or November prior to the summer of play. In the event
your application is not successful, InterGolf Vacations shall then enter you
into the daily ballot (lottery) which operates most weekdays and Saturdays,
through which method 50% of play is allocated.
Old Course: The
handicap limit for playing the Old Course is 24 for men and 36 for ladies. In
addition, an official handicap card will be a prerequisite for play at the Old
Course.
